Maybe you are visiting a friend or relative at the Hoarder center, Crowborough hospital or at one of the many private nursing homes and hospitals in the area, and need short term accommodation or just wanting a place to relax to for a weekend away with a quiet walk on the Ashdown Forest or visit one of the many National Trust properties.
Yew House Bed & Breakfast is well supplied with public transport links There is a bus stop is close to the top of the drive The name of the stop is Medway. Passing bus numbers are 229, 29, going to Tunbridge Wells, Uckfield, Lewes, and Brighton.
Crowborough railway station is approximately 1/4 mile from Yew House B&B with trains to London hourly.
The local community of Jarvis Brook is within easy walking distance and has a good selection of restaurants and small shops. There are also 4 or 5 National Trust properties with in a 10 mile radius of Crowborough, not to mention Royal Tunbridge Wells (6 miles) the old market town of Heathfield (8 miles) and picturesque villages of Rotherfield (2 miles) Mayfield (5 miles), Eastbourne (18 miles) and Brighton (20 miles) Gatwick is airport (18 miles)
